Moving from spring to late winter, the NEW BALTIC DANCE festival will open the 31st NBD season.

Why a season? Because our encounters will continue even after the festival ends. Throughout the year, the Lithuanian Dance Centre, together with its partners, will present additional events and initiatives under the NBD Season 31 brand. While the festival remains the main event of the season, the complementary programme will offer more opportunities to get to know dance creators, discover partners’ activities, and meet one another.

We will kick off the season by exploring intimacy without a filter—welcoming the audience with the heat, energy, and vitality generated by the dancing body. And we will continue to ask: what turns individual bodies into a community?
